I trusted having my mom here for rehab because I knew she was in good hands. Staff are caring & residents seem happy & cared for. Some people are good but most just show they care but nothing gets taken care of. Be aware of the Dr. Khader, she diagnose patient without checking patient physically and orders antibiotic for no apparent reason. Physical therapy and some staff are great but overall this facility needs to practice what they preach. There are no new cases of residents or staff testing positive for CoVid.
My mother died at the hospital at 76 years old. She was in the hospital for 33 days and hospice for almost 2 days. I literally went to see my mother everyday at the nursing home, I can’t imagine the residents that have no family. My mom loved Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. It was one of the best nursing/rehab centers I have ever seen. It was impeccably clean and up to date.

I would never leave a loved one is this urine filled environment. Walking in the facility you don’t know what the atmosphere really is like until you start walking back to the room and then boom the smell of urine hits you like a wall. Spoke with the supervisor and he said he would clean the room and I told him there is no amount of bleach that would clean that smell from the building. How can people give this facility such scores on line and you think you are doing the right thing based on reviews and then you actually go to facility and see how run down and unkept. I cried when I saw how horrible it was and the residents who are living in that environment.

He had a private room, so I was impressed with that. The rooms were clean, and they had big bathrooms. She liked the food there, and they had a nice variety.

Dining
Nana is now home with us and she still talks about the care she received there. My husband has been living at the Wayne Center for approximately one year and I can truthfully state his care has been wonderful. If ever an issue arises it is immediately addressed and resolved by staff. His dignity is always first and foremost as part of his ongoing care and to keep him comfortable and as happy as he can be. The staff from the maintenance department, nursing, nutrition, and his caregivers have been nothing but respectful and caring. His CNA Shirley is just the best.
They had a formal dining room and then a general dining room where families could go in. They had church services, jewelry making, and pets that would come in for the residents to play with. They also had crafts and puzzles. The Alzheimer’s Unit is excellent.
I would recommend Drews Place to others for their loved ones. Everything was good, and they took good care of my loved one. The staff communication with the family was good,... I like how friendly the staff are when I walk in the door. I like that my loved one's room is always nice and clean and tidy.

She hated it and we didn’t like it either. I never got to see her apartment. She never got out of quarantine because they kept having positive cases, so they kept extending her quarantine. I never got to see her regular room. It was terrible trying to get straight information from them.
